🎨 Chuck & Fern White – Founders & Trailblazers

Chuck’s passion for painting and photography began in high school, where he first learned to see the world through an artist’s eye. Fern, his wife and fellow adventurer, shared that same love for nature and the lens.

Chuck and Fern set out together to photograph the landscapes and wildlife of the United States. Their journey took them through all of the lower 48 states, capturing the quiet majesty of mountains, forests, and creatures great and small. Though Alaska remained a dream, their daughter Wendy carried that torch—traveling north to complete the vision they began. 

🌿 Wendy Sumner – Creative Director & Nature Storyteller

Wendy, daughter of Chuck and Fern, grew up immersed in the outdoors and surrounded by a deep love for art and nature. She inherited her parents’ passion and transformed it into a career—capturing emotionally resonant, family-friendly photographs that celebrate the wild and the heartfelt. Her work brings warmth, wonder, and connection to every piece, making nature feel close to home.

As Creative Director of Raven Wind, Wendy curates emotionally resonant, family-friendly prints that begin with Chuck and Fern’s timeless photography—capturing decades of wild beauty and adventure. She blends their legacy with her own nature-inspired images and Chuck’s original paintings to create collections that celebrate connection across generations. Together, their work brings the wonder of the outdoors into everyday life, inviting viewers to feel at home in nature.

📸 Clint Sumner – Budding Photographer & Third-Generation Eye

Clint, Wendy’s son and Chuck and Fern’s grandson, is the newest creative force in the Raven Wind family. With a natural eye for composition and a growing love for wildlife and nature photography, Clint brings fresh energy and perspective to the team. His work reflects the same curiosity and reverence that have defined Raven Wind for generations.
